About DHP

DHP was formed in 1985 by David and Cherry Hall, assisted by Roger Mortimer and Mark Downes. Today, we are one of the largest independent publishers of angling magazines in Europe. We believe that the secret to our success is in employing anglers who can write, not writers who can fish! We strongly believe that this policy has given our magazines the edge, bringing all the right information and the latest knowledge to our readers.

We started in with an aim to publish the best fishing magazines on the market, and 20 years on we are stronger than ever. Today, we employ over 70 staff and publish 10 fishing titles, including, Match Fishing, Total Carp and Total Coarse Fishing, edited by some of the industry’s top angling journalists.

	Marie Curie In the summer of 2005, DHP decided to choose a dedicated charity for which we would create fundraising events to raise money. The charity the whole company chose was Marie Curie Cancer Care.
