A trained journalist, John Hunter has 20 years’ experience as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor. He has spent the last seven years editing Tackle & Guns, one of two subscription-based business to business titles DHP produces, and was also the founding Editor of international industry publication Tackle Trade World.

T&G is seen as the voice of the fishing and shooting industries, and John’s role is to source and write news and features, as well as work alongside businesses to boost their profits. Despite starting out as a ‘coarse’ pleasure angler, his main passion is now dry fly fishing for trout on rivers and streams although he is currently developing his shooting skills, too.
