Mark spent most of his early life drawing, and despite growing up in the mean streets of Coventry, listening to two-tone music, supporting the local Sky Blues soccer team and attending a boys-only secondary school, no long term damage was done!

In 1994, Mark graduated with a BA Honours degree in Graphic Design and, a year later, fulfilled his lifelong ambition to work on fishing magazines when he started as a Graphic Designer at DHP. Shortly after that Mark - nicknamed 'Charlie' by his colleagues - was promoted to Creative Director and now oversees the design of all the magazines in the DHP portfolio.
