David Hall Publishing

DHP was formed in 1985 by David and Cherry Hall, assisted by Roger Mortimer and Mark Downes. Today, we are one of the largest independent publishers of angling, shooting, country pursuits magazines and multi media in Europe. Today the Internet, Apps, Facebook, Twitter, film production, exhibitions and conferences are all part of our ever expanding portfolio. We believe that the secret to our success is in employing anglers and shooters who can write, not writers who fish or shoot a bit! We strongly believe that this policy has given our magazines the edge, bringing all the right information and the latest knowledge to our readers.

We started in 1985 with an aim to publish the best fishing magazines on the market, and 26 years on we are stronger than ever. And whilst we are a multi media company today, magazines are still the backbone of the company. We now employ 80 staff and publish eight consumer titles and three trade titles, two of which are global, edited by some of the industry’s top journalists.

Below are the directors and managers of DHP. Each has a great deal of experience in their particular field, which in turn helps them to run their part of the company efficiently.
