DHP Ltd, one of Europe's largest independent publishers of angling magazines, based in Daventry, Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a talented individual to join its team as editorial assistant on its highly successful game fishing title, Total Flyfisher.

The successful applicant will be based in our Daventry offices in Northamptonshire and they should possess the following attributes:

• Knowledge and enthusiasm of all types of fly fishing
• Be hard working and committed
• Have an excellent grasp of written English and a talent for writing
• Have a confident telephone manner
• The willingness to learn about journalism and magazine production
• Having some photographic skills would be a distinct advantage

Duties will include:

• Writing, editing and photographing features
• Interviewing and Web filming
• Writing product reviews
• Liaising with companies in the tackle trade
• Assisting with magazine administration
• Going fishing!
