Editor – Advanced Carp Fishing Magazine
Your chance to live the dream!
A vacancy has arisen on Advanced Carp Fishing for the position of editor.
We are looking for someone who not only has excellent knowledge of carp fishing but also heaps of enthusiasm and drive.
You must be hard working, committed and extremely self-motivated, have an excellent grasp of written English and a passion for writing. Having excellent photographic skills would also be a distinct advantage, as would any previous journalistic and editorial experience. Importantly, you should also have the ability to work under your own steam, as well as fit in well with the carp department team at DHP.
Duties will include:
• Writing, editing and photographing features
• Interviewing and web filming
• Managing a team of editorial assistants, with responsibility for the magazine’s content as well as social media – Facebook, Twitter, website, blogs etc
• Producing and managing product reviews
• Liaising with top companies in the tackle trade
• Working alongside a dedicated team of designers and business development managers
• Managing contributors and working closely with some of the biggest names in carp fishing
• Planning individual magazines as well as monthly and yearly schedules
• Going fishing!
Salary – negotiable dependent on experience
